calculation length shadows

Good evening,

I am new to the forum, I hope I have written in the correct section, however my problem is that I do not know how to calculate the length of shadows generated in rendering of objects, would anyone be able to help me?? use autocad and a little 3d studio max.

could insert a xref into the model with a graduated scale
other solutions do not come to mind
