Calculation of flat volumes

Hey, guys.
I have to calculate the volume of some pillars of a cave network. thanks to the information I found on your forum I managed to create the surfaces related to the cap and the base of the pillars starting from level curves (base and cap are not in plan but have an irregular pattern).pilastro.webpI then extruded the pillars from the plant of the cave network (then I find the pillars that cross the two base and cap surfaces).
what I can't do is cut the extruded surfaces with the base and cap surfaces to get the volume relative to the pillar.
I tried with "cut", select the surfaces that delimit base and cap but when I go to select the pillar tells me that it is impossible to cut the object. if instead I try with "draw", select the pillar, then in surface mode I try to select the surfaces created by the level curves and tells me "no selected surface".
Where am I wrong? I hope you can help me!
Thank you! !

the surfaces that make up the soil presumed to be loft. if so, the correct command is the plot with the surface option.
when you select the secured items to select the loft and not the polylinese. the pull command works for a loft at a time, so it must be repeated for both surfaces.
If it doesn't work, it's something else

Thank you for the answer!
I actually did not use the loft command, I created the surface from the lateral menu surface-> new level-> curves and I selected the curves. I don't know if it can match using the loft command (I guess not since I don't work the tip).

hello, in the meantime I tried to use the loft function but it makes me a mistake on the discontinuity points.
Unfortunately the level curves from which I built the surface are very irregular because I built them from listed points.
the only way I managed to get a surface is the one explained before.. .
However, in case there was no way to cut the pillar, I would be able to calculate the volume between the two surfaces, if it is more feasible.
Thanks again.

Your surfaces are objects of civilization that I cannot manipulate.
if you do not get any other support try to create a three/four level curve loft close to the pillar, then follow the post #2 suggestion.
