calculation of frontal area

Hello everyone, I am a student enrolled in a motostudent team and since this year we started using catia v5.
having the already completed motorcycle assembling we would need to calculate the frontal area to perform aerodynamic simulations. However we have no idea how to do it, courteously someone could help us?

Hi.
I would make it a projection or a table of the front view and then I would go rebuild the surface projected on the floor, I would start with the fill command and then remove all the empty areas,
in the end with the measure command I go to true value of the area of my surface

create a sketch and project the 3d shape getting the profile of your silhouette
then go into shape design, and from that sketch create flat surfaces with fill command
and finally with the measuring instrument (caliber) you have the area
