are terms that the mechanics and industrial carpentry I have never met. They are usually part of architectural terms and are chip elements to increase resistance to the structure itself.

It should be used to connect beams and structural elements if I did not understand badly, I did not find any recontrials, obviously it should be a dialectal jargon used by carpenters, a technical term. Do you know anything? thanks for the collaboration

all that you could learn about the carpentry civil/industrial use but not for machine tools and similar are found on eurocode 3. the uni en iso 1993 have several sections where there are standards for steel construction, sizing and verification.
the same can be found in ntc 2018.
