never seen quotated the welding of the pins to weld, since it is burden of the carpenter do it to specific of the manufacturer of the pins that are purchased.

there are programs to edit fonts, the problem is that then that symbol will see only who will have the font modified by you.

Actually, this is a problem that's been in solid edge for years. I don't know if the latest versions have solved this problem, at least in pdf export.

my comment was about the use of the draft in pc on which the font was not modified.
fonts are normally embedded in pdf to have no visual problems.
the problem arises only if fonts are used for which you do not have the rights of use.

many years ago, following a problem, I set the pdf print used by solid edge to always incorporate fonts; for a long time I don't do it anymore and I haven't been reported problems leaving automatic management
