change a sheet format

if I have a certain sheet format that has been made for a3... can I change it and adapt it to an a4 in an immediate way? ?

depends on you what it means immediately .. you can change it but it depends on how it was realized and what you have to change.

Yes, however, I partially solved by creating a "homemade" square + cartilage starting from a .sec file that I created.
