I think you can be content to ask for help and receive the many responses of users trying to help you. If you "project" a simil-turbofan with bearings on the shaft of four meters in diameter you are not in the position to ask that the thread travel on your tracks. No one's in that position.

to create a new part in a set, there is a special command in
toolbar "assieme"
in the assemblies you can only make cuts that affect various components (parts) and not extrusions.

I prefer to name the new part (between the other you can
easily copy the project name by adding only the desinence for the n° of the part position).
Moreover, sometimes at the new insertion the prg does not digest the sketch on
new part... crashing (also recorded on 2011... sob...).
Another reason, of little account, that the name of virtual components, even if saved as external parts, present inconsistencies in names.
I mean, I don't feel good about it, more than once I happened not to put on the table, and therefore, not to have laser cut some plates.
Since then I have banned it from the options of all pcs in the office.
I'll get you two pictures.

I just want to understand the method of work that others use as sw from so many choices' and I like to compare to see to improve my work
I use virtual parts for example when I do simple studies when I put on the table only the assieme and quote all them.
