change layer lines in one part in idw

It is true that in the table, it is often necessary to highlight, a part which I designed, but which is not part of the supply; e.g. a machine mounted on an existing carpentry structure.
normally these parts are drawn all in fine line.
I can also do it with inventor highlighting the lines and changing layers.
or choose the part in the browser and change the thickness/type lines
is it possible to change the layer from the browser instead of the thickness?
