change of transparency

in viewing a part in a 3d window I can choose its level of transparency between:

1) opaque
2) seeds
3) Full

Now, since "semi" transparency is not transparent enough for my purposes, do you know how to act on the level of transparency of "semi" mode?

if you can't follow the "normal" streets of the type change to the settings of part 3d changing I don't know color, power of reflection etc and you can't even try with rendering the only strange idea that comes to mind is to make the part "full transparency" and then give transparency to the faces that are in sight
