in the express tools, there is the superhatch command that allows you to use blocks like retini. this allowed me to make a floor to "fish bait", using custom size strips.
the problem arises in the need to place exactly the origin of the strip to avoid the spherical.
while for the normal restraint this is quite simple, I couldn't do it with the superatch.
Would anyone advise me?

Thanks rpor66! In fact I used a block located outside the contour... So I didn't realize the origin.
instead placing the first block exactly where it serves and then selecting that .... all the others are positioned accordingly.
inter alia this command is very convenient as the block in question can be rectangular (and not necessarily square as it serves for the retini).

you get the same result by creating .pat files to use with the hatch command, more complicated at first but get a better result, the edibility of fillings is a remarkable plus.

Surely the .pat file allows you to enjoy the versatility of the retini.... but as I wrote above, you need to define a square and non rectangular (or I'm wrong?!), so this becomes a limit when you want to do e.g. the retino of a wooden floor with a certain design that on a x axis has a different size than y for what concerns the repetition module.
