hi to all, I wanted to know if in inventor it is possible to change a drawing view created by the 3d. better explain, I made a crown dentate in 3d and now I have to make the table in 2d, but I would like to make some changes in some views to make them more constable.. Is that possible? I have inventor 2011. (with solid edge I could do it. . )

put so, the thing is a little too generic:confused:
with inventor you can do whatever you want (or almost).
But tell us what changes you'd like to make.....:mixed:

alarm back... I tried some commands and managed to do a sketch inside a view. .

But now I have another problem: I have seen in detail a sectioned flange. how do I put the diameter odds in the view in detail if you see only part of the flange? ? ?
Thank you.

-quota
-click on the diameter portion you see in detail (what do you see it? )
-click right->options->quota type->diameter.

the problem that the view in detail is not from the top where you see the diameter.. It's a detailed view of a section! therefore the diameter to be quoted is actually seen as a vertical line. . .

If instead of touching the line you call vertical, tap the horizontal one.

Bye.
I tried but it doesn't work... it gives me a diameter but it is wrong, because it takes account only of the visible part. . and if the horizontal line is broken it doesn't make me put the diameter. .

Before answering, I tried to do it, it's not a quotation system I use and wanted to make sure before I say something not true.
If you can, put the file we see for a moment.

Bye.

Sorry, I assumed it was a hole.
I tried to do what you ask, but I can't, even those odds I avoid putting them.
I fear that there is nothing else to do but use a sketch of support, which is still very dangerous.
Let's see if someone else has a correct solution.

Bye.

Sorry, but I'm not exactly an inventor expert and I don't know what the command is to include the axis. Then I have it in English.
go to the view of your detail, dx button " located in the browser ".
see in the browser itself the iam or ipt to which it makes ref. the view, click on the (+), go to "origin ", click on (+), select the plan you need (I select all three ), text dx " include ".
It is assumed that the plans of origin are in the right place, if not, are coxxi
