I was commissioned a study to create a particular thermoplastic reinforced material that will have to replace a particular that is now made of steel.
to dimension it correctly I would like to do a fea analysis. I have already analyzed the particular in steel and determined the points where it is most stressed, the levels of tensions etc.
In order to do the same analysis on the model of the thermoplastic detail I have to characterize the material, but I am in the technical sheet of the same with parameters other than those that are commonly used to characterize the steels.
I would really use some suggestions on how to operate to best characterize a polymer.
