Hello everyone, I know that the question is a little out of place.
we are thinking of changing the lathe of our workshop , we would like to sell a haas lathe from tl 1 tooling that is both hormonal lathe and cnc .to me seems a little light , but fine .noi we do not make series productions but prototypes and molds .
Is there someone who has a haas tl1 lathe and can tell me how accurate and functional it is?
thanks infinitely

the choice of a lathe depends on the diameters of the pieces to be realized and the precision that you want to get as smaller pieces are and the more you need cutting speed to have better surface finishes.

the lathe that you have proposed has only 2000 rpm to the spindle which can go well for diameters from 35 up.

to see it so it looks light light, movements are also on linear guides.
sure you do not do heavy removal then depends on what you do

is a light lathe for small tooling the price is good depends on what you have to accomplish. I have a superminimill (light drilling center) of the haas I look pretty good
