Hi.
I have just written down and I don't know how to create a new discussion.
Does anyone know how to make a micro perforated sheet effect (e.g. round holes) with 3dsmax? I do not want to realize the three-dimensional model of the sheet but "simplely" apply maps (I think so) to a surface so that in rendering phase you seem a micro perforated sheet (so you have to see what is in the back).

you have to put the pictures in the alpha channel (it is called so also in 3d studio) then apply the material to the surface. attached two surfaces.
