hello to everyone and good year.

I have a problem that I can't dipanate: Get a proe curve starting from a set of coordinate points plus an "incremental" parameter that I think is related to the tangent. We start from the bottom: the cam is circular (with quarry) and the law is varable according to the needs. However, I must begin with a series of points and interpolate them with a curve that must obviously be on the surface of the cylinder itself. I have two cases:

1) have the points and draw the curve
2) have the linear curve and "spalmarla" on the cylindrical surface.

I hope I've been clear. no I found arguments very close to this problem. thanks for the help

Hello makeng, how do you have the coordinates of points?

This is cam that operate a rotating table. therefore it is an interpolation between a movement of circular pins and a cylindrical cam that acts perpendicularly to the pins themselves. I saw and downloaded a video of a similar cam, only that the pin was always radial to the axis of the cam.

in the file there are 3 colored data:

first column : the raised coordinate ( parallel to the axis of the cam)
second column : displacement simulating rotary plate
third column: the angle position of the cam
