ban on cheeks,
I need to create a thing like an image that I attach, in support of a glazed dome (made at the moment with curtain walls applied to a semi-spherical form generated with the masses, if you have better ideas, type glazed roof come forward), it is possible to make it agile with the tools of revit, or it is better to import it from the outside from a sketchup file? At the moment the size of the object I found is not correct, so I would like to understand what is best to do so as to lose as little time as possible, trying to maintain a minimum of veracity in the measurements.. .

Warm! !
I throw it there but it's all to check if it works... I would try to make a generic model family where I create the single item, so I drown it in a family of line-based models.

Ossignur... I still believe that the most problematic is to make everything parametric, so that you have the diameter you need, without varying the cross section, or at least make us parameterized also those... never been good at making objects parameterized.
If someone wants to try this, maybe by parameterizing the single element that composes the beam, it is welcome.

However, do you confirm that there are no tools in revit ready to have this kind of thing? should a new family be created?

At the moment I "stiracchiato" the object, importing it as a new family of beams, getting this (but the measures do not convince me. . ):

I'm afraid so; I don't think revit already has a similar affair in his library. Maybe it would be easier with revit structure, but here I say it and here I deny it...

I solved the problem, perhaps not very fine, creating an element that covers a certain angle (360°/x) then with a radial matrix I repeated it x times until I complete the circumference. If you can parameterize the element according to the radius, then you can dimensional it as you want.
