Hello everyone, I have a cloud of points in a dxf file (60mb)
I would like to import it into a set if, better if I could first convert it into a stl or even better a par of surfaces if not too heavy. the sl is perhaps the lightest solution.
It is a relief of a metal cassette (not a simple cassette) with various fixings and it would be nice to have it under reference. now I am going with photos and measures taken very good
He knew that:
- the client just gave me this file and can't give me anything else.
- I have a solid edge 2022 foundation (so no point cloud management module)
- I also have sw 2022 if needed
- I can't buy/install software on the machine where I work (I don't manage it)
- if you open it on a dft by showing me all the crushed points on the xy plane and bringing the color of the points correctly.
- if you plant it if I open it in a par
- sw grinds 15 minutes and then closes for exhausted memory
Thank you! ! !
