hello to all, for the thesis I am trying on reverse engineering of archaeological pieces, and at the moment I am working on a head, acquired through 3d scanner.
the software I use to realline and fill the holes is rapidform 2006, while in parallel to me a thesis is working with reconstruction through photometry.
our goal is to evaluate first the two clouds, but I am encountering not a few difficulties. In fact, I have the possibility to overlay the two clouds and evaluate the deviation of the same (however, assuming mine as the one with precise dimensions, while its as a more qualitative cloud), but we are looking for parameters that define them quantitatively and with "precision", as the evaluation of noise.
I hoped someone could give me a few tips, on a bibliographical level but above all software, on how to evaluate a cloud well.
Can anyone help me? or do you know any function of some program that can calculate the noise of a cloud itself, or other parameters that I should consider?
