hi to everyone, sorry but I need help, it's been a long time since I don't use more autocad but for work, these days, I have resumed, I've installed the 2010 version, but I don't remember how to manage the layers, there is someone who can help me, it's urgent, I have the delivery of a project Monday and they have asked me expressly to use the layers, thank you!

the layers are nothing but "transparent sheets" put one on the other. drawing on the various layers you have the possibility to display only a few, leaving the others off.
the layers can be "lighted" (i.e. visible) - "spenti" (hidden) - "frozen" (hidden but so that autocad does not regenerate the design) - "blocked" (i.e. visible but it is not possible to change the entities placed on that layer: to help, in the last versions of autocad, the entities on the blocked layers become darker)

apart from these "basic" things, for further explanations about their use, I suggest you simply press the f1 button and search for the word "layer".
