Hello everyone,
I would need your help and hope to have asked in the right section.
I have always and only used inventor for a "light design" of plates and some simple together.
Now I was asked (for a new job) to create a layout of a plant similar to that of the attached image.How can I make it? with what instrument?
I don't know where to start. . .

any suggestion is well accepted.

If you have the 3d you can do it with inventor, even if I don't use it.
otherwise you do it with autocad or other software.
but do you have the steps or other files??
Where are you going?
Do you have to design the whole line from scratch?
....

lay-out for what? Planimetry? Do you swallow cars? final representation? as-build? if it's simple layouts or planes with autocad you create the various pieces seen from above and from you create the view in the plant. .

but who is that fool who has commissioned you something like that, they have commissioned you to realize (the drawing? The project? of? )a plastic film production system,pvc?

I begin to thank everyone for having responded.
the layout serves for the "use and maintenance manual". They should already have dwg drawings, but I still have to see them.
I simply don't want to make a "old dwg" design, like this x example:so I don't have to design or draw something in detail, I just wanted to understand with what program you can get something more modern like that of the first image.

I don't know if it's better to do it with inv or autocad, but to do it.
what I miss is because with autocad you can not do this design in a way similar to that of the first image.

It's not like you can't do it in autocad. I'm the one who can't. I thought it was done with other programs.
I am able to do it in autocad but like the second drawing.

in 3d a lay-out design? autocad lt and via.. made to give the views in plant of the various machinery and away.. with autocad you can do both the first and the second example. .
