I'm new to the program. . cmq..praticamenta I have to realize a tilted flat roof..I would like the 4 faces of solid contour (tect) to be perpendicular to the plan of rhinoceros and not to the tilted plane. . when using the command extrude the reference plane becomes that of the inclined curve. I managed to solve by changing the direction of extrusion of the solid after drawing a line in the direction I wanted.. I think it is a good method.. thanks to all

both a curve and a surface when extruded maintain the perpendicularity of the building plan on which they were created.

to extrude along a different direction it is possible to use the direction option inside the extrusion command (but it is not very clear as setting) or... .

use the _extrudecrvalongcrv command to create a solid extruded from a curve along the direction given by another curve.

or the _extrudesrfalongcrv command to do the same thing, but from a superfice.
