I don't find in sketchup the possibility to create a figure described on wikipedia as
"Revolution on track - it is a hybrid system between a revolution and a sweep, it always starts from a profile and a revolution axis, but there is also a basic path (also called binary[13]), that the profile will have to follow during the revolution
or the same is obtained from a solid extruded by an irregular base figure, along a straight axis, which climbs during its extrusion following a section profile
all is feasible you rhino with the command "rail revolve" "rail revolve" of rhino (see images and tutorials on the web).
with the various extrusion sketchup plugins I failed.
