Good evening.
If I may add a clarification in addition to that said by gianni. the command returns one (or more, depending on the shape of the piece ) curves, which correspond to the mold division in the case of 90 degrees and, as direction , the direction of stamping .
However, you can also set different values including the strip required for extraction. So 93 or 87, for example , generates one (or more....) tangent curve to the surface with 3 degrees of sform/spoglia/etc. In this case, from this curve you can then define a surface (swing tangent to the surface or sweep with 3 degrees compared to the molding direction, for example) which allows to make the final piece printable more easily.
This, of course, provided that it is not aesthetic surfaces.
