a simple profane question, how do I empty, only a part of a solid that is composed of two diameters??
the solid is built with a revolution.
in the image you see the solid to empty, I want to empty only the central part and not the crown.

you have to use the thin wall command (the icon if not mistaken is a cube with an open face) but I did not really understand how you want to empty it....make a couple of attempts.. I also recommend the tutorials. Hi.

If I understand you want to empty only the conical part. select the surface on which you want to apply the emptying, return to the sketch environment and create the profile you want to empty (circle, square etc.), click the extruded command and select the profile you just created, to empty the depth you want. you must always take into account the size of the detail, developing parametric models.

insert a separation plan, in your case it is or well understood a normal plan that passes between the cylinder and the cone. select the division command: division => solid.
then do the command empty => face.
