hi, I wanted to know if on vw there is the "stira" command that allows you to "long" only from a certain point (which suggests) by slipping only from there the lines (and therefore keeping the rest of the selected items unchanged. simply "follow" the new trajectory-usually orthogonal to the previous)
I found a fac-simile but it leaves behind lines... thank you!

exists the conjunctive and intersecting instrument (connect/combine), in the standard tools (basic)
I do.

congiungi and interesca is equivalent to "gathering".

Iron, however, allows (for example) to translate an opening along the walls.
I try to explain myself better.

you have a long ab wall with initial point to and a final b.
you have a cd port identified by the two perpendicular segments to ab.
then in order we find the points, from left to right:
to (wall start)
c (beginning door)
d (end door)
b (end wall).

we put the distances:
ac: 2 meters (wall / door start)
cd: 1 meter (door opening)
db: 3 meters (end door/wall)
for a total of 6 meters.

"stira" allows me to translate only the cd points along the walls without moving to and b that instead maintain the same identical coordinates.
in this way to and b remain fixed (the wall does not move) but ironing cd I can get that the opening is more to the right or left of the entire wall:

ac: 4 meters (wall / door start)
C'd': 1 meter (door opening)
db: 1 meters (end door/wall)

explained in words it is a mess, I realize; but it is that I seem very tired that autocad (2004) has this command and vectorworks (2009) no...

depends on how you set the job.
If you tell me about walls and doors I guess you're using the wall object and the door object. at this point just select the door inserted into the wall the grab with the cursor, start moving it, and type 200cm in the floating shovel. and it is made, because move the door and the passage follows it automatically.
this also works between the wall object and a 2d door symbol.
if instead you work in pure 2d, assuming that you have built a 2d symbol of the door, that however is not inserted in a wall but between two 2d polygons that represent it, then just select the three elements (polygons and door) take the tool change (reshape), select with this (with a simple rectangular selection) the door and the vertices of the polygons that delimit the varco, and move them 200cm along the parallel.
I don't understand what this iron does, probably, but I don't know autocad.
I do.

you must select the entity, such as a polyline, double-click and enter the 2d modality (alternatively select the tool in the standard tool palette). from the mode bar decide with which lazo or rectangle select only the vertices that interest you move. then move them. is the most similar command to the autocad line. you can look at page 1-343 of the basic manual 2012
