Hello everyone, I am new in this forum, I introduce myself: My name is emanuele and I'm a pisa aerospace engineering student and I have a problem with catia v5.
In practice, after realizing an overall and assembling it, it touches me to simulate the movement.
I used the quick creation command of the joints and everything went well, I only had to add a joint between 2 dentate wheels because obviously the program did not recognize it alone. the program told me that it is possible to simulate the mechanism, only that there are 3 possible commands that I can give, but I would like to be able to connect 2, that is to make them dependent one from the other, is it possible to do it somehow?

means that your set is substantiated with respect to the degrees of freedom desired.
You have to add two constraints somewhere so that you can carry the system without commands to one degree of freedom.
to be more precise you should see your set.

the problem is that there is a toothed wheel that must rotate, but the joint of serrated wheels keeps the plane on which the wheel turns, then removing this joint appear the 3 commands: the rotation of one of the toothed wheels, the rotation of the one coupled to the previous one and then another that does not fit with these 2 that I would like to be able to connect
