Good morning to all,

I don't know why cmq now I have to try to save all the archicad 16 data and bring them to another computer, but how do I depress and upload all the materials I had on my dead computer???? in the new computer with archicad 16????? do I have to load material for material?? ? or can I move the folder where all materials are contained?? ?

Define dead.

What exactly happened?
Does boot?
Did the power supply jump?
Did the motherboard go short?
does boot but does not read the master boot record of the primary hard drive?

calm and chalk.

One simple thing is to open the pc, unplug hard disk, put it as secondary on another pc.

I assure you that before giving lost data there are many possibilities.

Not even the pc is discounted to throw.

Then I disconnected the hd and inserted into another pc, and the first thing I know I can't access the partition where all the data I had is contained, when I try to get in it tells me incorrect parameter, I opened acronis and I did a backup of the disk, all right, only if I try to mount it again gives me error saying that you can't mount this kind of disk.

then I installed getdataback and am trying to make a recovery of all the files that are in the partition. ah I forgot before acronis I tried test disk which tells me that the file system is damaged.

What do you think?

I think you did everything you could do.

Ironically, I just "fumato" the hard disk controller. turn on, fans whipping, no boot.
I'll have to do exactly what she did, hoping she didn't corrupt the file system.

I couldn't recover a minchi, just a 100 jpg file.
