a curiosity that maybe someone using a pdm can make me clear.
We admit to having in a file par a variable, whose value is dependent on another variable present in another file (par or asm it is).
if I don't have the pdm, just open the variable table of the "son" and copy-paste the variable of the "father".
What if I use a pdm and then save the parts on the database instead of on the file system?
Sorry about the naive question but I don't know anything about pdm, for example I don't know if par and asm files exist even when using pdm and database only takes care of tracking links between the parts, or all model files end up in my sql database and no longer exist as separate files.
