Hello everyone I hope not to be ot. soon I have to buy a portable workstation to draw with solid edge st4 and make tool paths with esprit 2012. My choices fall on:

What do you recommend? the fujitsu I like but purtoppo has the white keys

But why? apart from the system components that well or badly are the same is made with quality materials? Does it clean easily? is it reliable? I already have an elitebook hp 3 years ago and I don't feel bad

Are you sure you take 17? Don't you want to buy the 15" and an external monitor?
I think most of the time you will spend it at the same desk, on which you could put the external monitor, and those times that you move fit you at 15." That's because I think a 17" laptop isn't that portable. . . .

I only need the laptop if I carry the job at home and put it in the safe at night in the company, I'm also evaluating the side of a 24" monitor but still though it was a 21" laptop I would still be better (I have a desk of 5 x 1.5m :biggrin: )

go on ebay in germany you find you use a little less powerful (but for what you have to do well) than the 800-1000euro refurbished.
there are then a lot of spare parts and the precision are easy to unassemble and reassemble!

I always had only some and I always found myself great, so I can only recommend them.
I also use more than 17 of 15 though when I'm around it's a nice grin, I prefer to have space and performance.
if I can give you a permit take a ssd for the operating system and a hd for the data.

I just got a hp 8560, it's a nice car. solid state disc from 240 giga, ram 8 gb, nvidia picture 2000, 3 years warranty on-site, price 2000 + VAT. 17 will cost a little more but if you use it so much without external monitor, it is worth it. even on 15.6" it works well, much better than the old 15,4".

the budget is indicative, the important thing is to have a good product. Can I know how you are with the new pc? Are you happy with the choice? How do you behave with cad 3d?

I look great, use nx and with the latest versions (nx8 especially) is a bomb!
I also bought it because recommended by matfio that has the same car for 4 months and I saw it working.
