Hello everyone, after using the classic autocad in depth, I went to the architecture version, but I would like to make a clarification regarding the construction of the walls, I explain: when I want to create a wall, and imposed a certain length, the wall created will be ever longer than the length set, in particular it will be longer than half of its thickness (minus of 10m, thickness of 0.6m, the actual length will be 10.03m) because the following wall connected to the first, is as if it goes to "add" to the previous one, making it longer...I don't know if I explained, I would like to have a solution for this "

probably you have to change the justification of the wall

I use this post, to seize the advice you gave.
I come from a more than twenty-year use of autocad 2d, so now I am taking a look at the new programs (both self-desk and not); among others I am trying in this period archicad v.19 and aa 2016, so I proceeded by entering the same project in the 2 software.
I must say that while in archicad I managed to insert the whole project as it was, with aa I noticed that some things could not be inserted or failed to insert them (e.g. the doors or windows, fixed with shutters that end partially in the wall..eccc.. floors or floors? ).

After what you wrote, I realized, that it is actually best to let him lose and try instead revit (which I had already in mind to try).
