Hello everyone.. I'm new. My name is Michael... I have a big problem... I'm learning how to use revit and I have to make doors on a window.. But I can't do it. Some pious soul would be so kind to help me.. It is very important because this project I would like to bring it to maturity... I attached the dwg design to make you understand how I wanted to make the glass door.. I use revit 2011 if someone knows a better program let me know

once you've created the façade, keep splitting with grid lines.
that create panels of the dimensions of the doors you want to insert.poi insert> family charge, in the metric library in the folder facade panels continue you should find something that suits you.carichi the family in the project. ..selections the panels of the continuous facade and the type selector choose the door you loaded.

It's better that you leave this concept right away. there is no better or worse software! there is only the ability that the user has to exploit the resources of the program, elasticity and elbow oil! If you're looking for a program that does everything you want in the way and the moment you think so then don't miss your sleep. revit is a great program, with predictions and defects, but it is not "the best" as nobody is! Good job

Hello again excuse the trouble.. but I have a height of the glass about 2.85 meters come out 2 series of rectangles x the facade continues.. when I go to make facade grill continues.. I give myself the space of my door, but I have the old lines left, so it doesn't make me make a single door... I don't know if I explained. I practically can't make a single door because of the lines of the facade continues.. How do I delete??? excuse the useless and trivial questions.. but I am learning to use this program

the grid lines you can put them as you like...better than how lance explained you can not...quote also tristan

you can use the generic facade that has no pre-set grid lines. then you only create what you need with a continuous facade grill.

to delete the grid lines the selections (maybe you help with the tab button) then add/remove segments

I ask you a question... but do you refer to any guide or manual? Or are you going to stub? no because the continuous facades are not such a simple thing to handle and if you go for attempts you're probably losing your time
