conversion files from igs or 3ds to format for archicad

Good morning to all, as from object I am trying to understand what may be the best way to do this passage.
I have to transform these files of furnishing accessories in order to make them usable also for the users of archicad.
do you have advice, methods and shortcomings for this operation?

I would try first to import the 3ds into archicad through his command; find it under the menu "archive" --> file management --> import file 3 dstudio;
if I see well use c4d; if so keep in mind that archicad can import c4d files;
