conversion from hm10 to hm8

Good morning, everyone. I have a file format ".hm" created in hypermesh 10. I would like to turn it into ".hm" for hypermesh version 8. I simply tried to rename the file by saving it as .hm80, but it does not work so banally. Can you help me? Is there not an internal hypermesh translator that can convert me into the 8 format?
