Bye to all,
since the igs files that send me are little usable, I would like to know politely if there is a way, maybe free, to convert a 3d file from pro-e to catia v5. thanks:cool:

currently exporting from creo a native catia format is not possible. you use the usual neutral formats. the step is the most robust. in a few months will exit creo 3.0 and there will be a plug-in to export with native catia format. probably it will be a more clean format of the step, there will be parameters or metadata of various nature, planes of reference and what else, but I don't think you absolutely talk about tree of features or similar. the problem of the iges (other than the cleaning work of the surfaces) for the assemblies is that it does not keep separate the various components and therefore there is a single rather unmanageable conglomerate.
