hi, I must draw a kind of funnel with the scented handle, I designed the first part of the sketch of the handle (in reality it will be more elaborate as profile) and now I should prolong the lines to the cone (external side without penetrating) but I can not understand how to do.. .

Will you give me a hint?

You know what it is that you generated the imbute through loft and emptying so you don't have the cone profile sketch... I before seeing your attachment I had tried to recreate it simply with a revolution of a rectangle representing the thickness of the cone... In this way you remain the sketch and after you have the reference to draw the handle!

I'll train you my flight test

hi and thanks, the problem is getting tangent to the cone, now for example I moved the plan (and on the other side I sketched my indicative silhouette only x understand that I can not use the other plan -destro- as start and extrude up to the surface) as you see the profile line no longer serves anything.. .

I guess I'm wrong. But what is the right one?

Then I didn't understand. your shape handle must have? I posted a tangent handle to the cone, resulting from a sweep of a circle on a path?

:d the handle I would like to do is like the one on floor 3 of the image attached beforehttp://www.cad3d.it/forum1/attachment.php?attachmentid=15472&d=1276937195... that I do not understand how to get to the cone if not adding a second extrusion "to the surface" that though, if I had to change the position of plan 3 could give problems.. .
for this I was looking for a way to be able to give a unique and "safe" reference to the closing line of the handle.. .
I don't know if I was clear:redface:

It's very simple... do a sketch on an orthogonal plane on floor 3, converting the profile of the handle itself ( rectangular to mean) and then do extrusion to the cup or what it is!
Bye. .
ah, of course if plan 3 is too tangent to the cup, the extrusion would not succeed....me is consistent with the feasibility of the piece itself!you should not untie the prototype 3d from its real feasibility!
