coordinated system orientation in sketch

question perhaps banal:
does the coordinate system not automatically orientate in the sketch?
from the guide I realized that every time you activate the sketch the coordinate system remains the default one.
then if you sketch on the xy plane the horizontal bond will bring the horizontal line compared to the monitor, if you sketch on yz the same bond will bring the line in vertical compared to the monitor. Did I play well?
If I want the bond to remain horizontal to the monitor, I need to change the orientation of the coordinate system.
is there no way to set it automatically?
and this change of orientation remains confined to the sketch alone or then I find it from that point forward?

I answer because I could appraise the thing: the setting is fixed so, the orientation of the vertical/horizontal constraints is always referred to the x axis
