copy elements maintaining "z" value (and also glossy organization)

Hello
I need to copy 3d level curves (so with z value) in another file, the problem is that if I make a trivial copy-paste all the z values of the lines are reset to 0. what's the best solution?
I would also like to maintain the layout of isoipse in glosses and classes as from original file, once imported. I've already seen a discussion about this last problem, there's someone who suggested connecting the file as reference, and then eventually delete reference and include the file keeping classes and glosses. The problem in my case is that the files don't have the same origin, that's the reference file is lost somewhere when connected. Is there a way to move it and make it match my planimetry?

therefore. In theory, if you copy and report, you should not lose the information on the quota. What kind of entities are they? As for categories and glosses, I recommend using the command import categories and polishes from the menu files

I also take you the result of a discussion sl theme on other forums
you have to open the organization dialogue > design glosses
click on the "create" button
activate the "import design" mode and click the "choose" button to point the file from which you want to import the lights.
at this point the list of glosses present in the file - highlights those you want to import.
If you want to import the objects on the glosses, you must activate the "import objects" option

are 3d polygon.
The vectorworks I use is in English, in the menu, no layers and classes matter, I have other types of files.
the solution with the organization tab I try it tomorrow, maybe importing glosses and entities' I care about the 3d polygon properly.
Thank you

Let us know!

then, I tried with the organization tab to import gloss from the source file. the import works, but everything is scaled of a factor 1000, i.e. if in the file of origin a distance measures 1 meter, after the import the same distance measures 1 mm. this also happens for the quota z, that first I saw as 2.5 mt and now is 0.0025 mt. little bad for the quota z, I can also use them climbed in this way, so much the zeres do not make me problems; but in the plant I have the right measures .

the problem is in the import of curves. do they come from a dwg?
in what scale and in what unit of measurement are you working on the two files?
it is not important that they correspond, it thinks vw to bring them back correctly when you copy and paste. but if you find yourself with such high values it means that there was an import into the wrong scale.
I do.

they come from a dwg originally, then they were imported into vw by some of my colleagues. but the files I'm working with are both in vw. the stairs were actually different in the two files, then in the original file I set the same scale of my planimetry, saved the file, and re-imported the lucids in the planimetry but the scale problem persists..:frown:

It is not a question of scale of the layers.
It's an import matter.
when importing a dwg is assumed the unit of measurement, unless it has been communicated.
once imported you look for a quote in the drawing and it occurs that it is correct (distance between pickets, for example, or opening of a door, etc.)
in case it is wrong it is better to import the dwg again by setting the right conversion scale.
clearly one of your two vw files comes from an imported dwg with incorrect conversion factor.
the best thing is to import the dwg again.
If you can't, then you have to scale the drawing: modify -> scale objects. here give the exact percentage and selections entire drawing.
I do.
