Hi, I'm an engineering student. Two years ago, I made a project for an exam. the dwg file was saved on both a hard drive and dropbox. today at the opening of the file also opens a warning window with the wording "impossible to locate or read one or more reference files. reference file not found: 15". of course the project is displayed with many missing parts.
I really need to solve the problem, because I have to use this project for an exam and I can't recover it from anywhere else.

Thank you very much for the answer. It was what I feared. the strange thing is that until recently I opened it without problems, now instead it gives me this problem. Thanks again

Please check that the reference files have not been deleted or are not inaccessible for several reasons.

as it says massive is not a corrupt file problem but the fact that your file does not find others connected to it (xref). you should try to recover in your folders the aforementioned missing files and reconnect them by giving them the new path.
in the future you should make an e-transmit that creates a zip with everything that is present in your design, external references included (they are photos, pdf, dwg, dxf...). or alternatively connect them directly as blocks in your design.

If you mistakenly deleted external files from hard drive try to look into the dropbox basket, I think they stay there for 30 days before they are actually deleted.
