Hello everyone.. .
a person of my knowledge would like to evaluate the possibility of buying a used scanner, suitable for footwear use.
we accept indications on what features you may have to take into account so that it is still a good scanner to start moving the first steps and above all we accept indications on where to find one.
Taking a look at ebay...something comes out...but I have no idea what type can be enough for our use.

dimensional accuracy and resolution are usually required in the footwear sector in order to capture details such as the "filo forma".
sometimes there happens some second hand tools, however always professional systems with costs between 15k and 20k

I'm gonna walk you down here two photos to give you some indication of the systems we treat.

Sometimes there are situations where a professional scanner is superfluous so a low cost system can be more than enough. (it is not always so but in the case of scanning shapes for footwear you could solve by spending less than 1000 euros). quality is low and in dimensional terms; tolerance is between 1 and 3 mm. there are many systems based on microsoft kinect. on the internet find a little bit of everything. if you are satisfied you have the embarrassment of choice. I also saw around some for iphones that acquires and saves data in stl.
