hi guys, I have this problem: I have a circular surface and I should drill it with so many holes of a certain diameter to make sure that 50% of the surface is drilled...in theory I should try to distribute the drills in an orderly manner.
How can I do that? suggestions?
Thank you very much

make a series and use the appropriate option.
Ostia, man!
Is there an option that automatically distributes "n" entities on a circular area?
at this point to "wellod" simply bind with a relation the number of holes to be distributed according to the area of each hole and 50% of the total area to have everything always updated.

circular area, square, hexagonal, whatever you want. :-)

but with what criterion are distributed? example: disc diameter 100 mm, 13 holes diameter 2 mm. how are they placed in the circular area?
It's a ficiur that would have served me more than once.
Obviously I will not buy pro-e, but I will ask that they implement it in swx. I need info though:tongue:

the filling series has several options:
1) the scheme (romboidal, quadrangular, hexagonal, circular concentric, spiral, long sketch curves)
2) minimum distance from edges
3) the distance between the holes
4) angle of rotation compared to origin
5) for circulars and sprys can define radial spacing.

that's all.

Nice. .
I prepare the enancement request, but before sending it I want to see it working in person:wink::smile:

...I will ask that they implement it in swx...
but how marcof?. and the filling repetition con l'opzione creates series cutting Isn't that what you're describing? Did I get it wrong?
Sometimes I use it and it works well... Of course if exaggerating with the nr. of holes becomes heavy (like all repetitions).

greetings
Marco:smile:
