creare file step solidworks

Hello everyone, they are a neophyte of solidworks, use the version 2015.
I need to create step files starting from assemblies.
I would like the final file not to have hideable or submissible parts but to be a single solid.

I have already tried to save as part and later as step, but either doesn't open the step file, or some parts are suppressible.
Could someone explain the right procedure to me?

to create a step with a single solid you have to start from a side file with a single solid. There are no alternative ways.
then:
save the axieme as part
open the part and combine all the bodies into one solid through the matching and extrusion functions
save the step
