depends on what solid you want to do, for example you can do an extrusion to the surface.
or make your solid, copy and paste the surface you talk about and then with this make a cut.
or, if you have the aax module, do a public geometry in the part you posted and a copy geometry in the new part you want to achieve to have the surface to which you relate.
