create a surface with extrusion of a 3d pattern

Hi, guys. I have a request for you.
I have catia v5 r20 and I am drawing a particular carter originating from a complex surface with thickness. Now I have a problem, I have to print the prototype in 3d via 3d-fdm printer but I do not want to print the full carter, but all drilled with holes with a regular geometry to show what is below (so not deformed as you could do by making a straight extrusion from a floor.
if you have not understood me (because I have explained badly :d ), perhaps an image can be of help:

the nature of my surface is undevelopable, so it is obvious that some holes will be deformed.

Who can help me? if it is not possible with catia with what you could do?

Thank you.

Hi.
waiting for more complete answers, under the gsd environment, in surface development, there is a command that allows to make a sort of "translation" from the flat to the "deformed" surface. It seems to me that as input asks you a matrix of starting points, that of arrival and (but I'm not sure) curves (starting/admission).
so you should define everything in the plan and then "deform are" everything.

Thank you. I'll try.

I checked now on the cat menu (because I was going to memory).
first of all I apologize but I do not remember the equivalent in Italian.
There are more commands, each of them is away more precise but I don't know what licenses you have.
that base is called transfer (in English). insert the starting and arrival surface. then gives you the opportunity to transfer the entities you want from one to another (fold and unfold). I hope you do it. but I have no idea what "technical" you use to bring back the elements (I don't know if you use the edges, if points, etc.)
As you climb, there are the shape morphing commands that allow you to define curved dele that do as "guides" for the transformation from fold to unfold. It seems to me that allow better control of deformations.
Finally, under the rso license, realistic shape optimizer, there is the digitized morphing that is probably born for the molders who have to calculate the molds with the "sheet return". That's what I was talking about. from the surface to deform, then you must insert a text file with xyz points and its xyz variations compared to the corresponding.
Then maybe you can do it with other methods, eh... but I didn't think of others.
