Good morning to all, I decided to refine my modus operandi for the creation of objects.
Until yesterday I was wandering around the problem by looking for some models with the warehouse of up or turning to "objects" some small creation made using loft tools and wall under archlinexp, recently I also try to create linear objects (doors, windows.) with some good results.
searching on the net but I fell my eye on some videos for 3ds (here below listed) in which the faces of objects were less uniform to make them more realistic. my question is: sketchup offers commands comparable to those I have seen or have to turn to other software to create mattresses and pillows that don't look like marble blocks?

I thank all those who will read my message.

Excuse me, did I put my question wrong or did I do something wrong?
thanks for the delucidations.

sketchup modeling tools are not minimally comparable with what makes 3ds available...they are like day and night

It is obvious that 3dsmax is another thing but it costs a lot, with on you can do nice things with plugins as https://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/artisan-organic-toolsetthat costs 1/100 of 3dsmax

actually if you put the cost of sketchup plus the plugin we are between 800 and 900€; 3ds max costs just less than 4000 so at my house is not exactly a ratio 1 to 100.

the plugin ,39 dollars, you can install it with the free version of sketchup
39 + 0 = 39

Thank you so much for the further advice, I think that's exactly what I was looking for.
I have spent a few hours on sketchups in recent weeks and, although it is very intuitive, I have seen that it is ostic to work on details below the centimeter. I do not understand whether this is a non-payment version limit or a software limit or an incorrect choice of the measurement unit I used. Can I get rid of this doubt?
thanks again for the availability of all.

for what concerns the scale of the project I solved from "window-information model".
In addition to the above recommended plug, I found a second that allows me to model curved surfaces (guards, mattresses etc.) alternatively. also this in test period.
if you were interested in someone below an example video soap skin and bubble sketchup extension
