a few years ago (before 2000) I found myself living an experience overturned, the company where I work acquired a smaller company . Then we used euclid3 of the matra dating (more than 35 jobs), which no longer exists. in the acquired company used proes I do not remember that version (one job)
I was sent to check if it was the case that they adopted our program, I did not know proe except from the name and from a demo made in the early 1990s, the defense of the 2 designers was so strong that I decided to let them still use proe.
in 2001 the company in which work passed to proes, since euclid3 was "extinguishing".
they were right about the people who presented convincing arguments.

more than 10 years have passed, now with the crisis and the continuous price raise wonder if managers will have the best solution for the type of work they do (in case over complex surfaces) while costing more.
