create solid from surfaces.

Hello everyone,

for educational purposes (for my students), I am citing in the design and design of a bending mold for aluminum plates, in particular a "centin cup".
I created the detail with the workbench "aerospace sheet metal", now I would like to know if there is the possibility to extract from the 3d model the surfaces and create the solid to make the bending mold (i.e. to obtain matrix and punch).

in gsd environment find the foreign command (1).
you can select the portion of the selection (thickness, point or extraction of the single face).
