create solid independent "part"

Good morning to all,
I use pro/e w5, I was wondering if it was possible to create in "part" a solid that remains independent from the "part" itself. a little like creating a new "body" in the cat.

from how I know, neither pro nor creo manage multibody.
if you are looking for on the forum there are several messages in this regard. . .

It's possible. creo is not multibody, but I recommend you create in the .prt file as first feature a feature of geometry independent from later features. Of course you have to be careful not to create references to independent geometry while you go on in the feature tree.
if you have advanced license for assembling this first geometry feature can be associated with another part file, otherwise the first feature remains disconnected from everything.
Let me know what kind of license you have and I'll explain the details of what you have to do.
creo is not multibody. if you models two solids not connected in one same .prt creo will always see them as a unique solid, but maybe you just want to create portions of non-interdependent geometry.

I was interested in creating 2 models in the same .prt not connected to each other, which although united were 2 distinct solids.. In short, just like the multibody of catia.. .
At this point I think that I will create a subaxieme to assimilate then into the main axieme. .

the ft (family table) method is used to have all the variants you want or a model or a set. you can manage quotas, features, parameters etc. at will.
for details try to see the online guide, which is not hurt, or do a search in the forum. If you need further clarification, make a whistle.
