I am a novice user of catia v5 and I find myself having to solve my problem.
I have a file of assembled parts. I have to create the top print on the bottom that then interfere.
How am I supposed to do that?

Can you post an image?
as you described it, I would be told to try to intersect the two parts in contact.
If, instead, they are in clash and you want to extract the whole area in clash, you can try with an intersect in the boolean operation section.

If not you have copy restrictions between parts, you can copy paste with links but risk that the two parts do not align as you want.
