create a 3d sketch with the path, on the initial point create a plan with a round section and then with the sweep do the cable. Of course if the job gets heavier it would be better to take routing.

routing is an integrated application in the premium license that helps you very much in the construction of plant paths (tubes), hoses and electrical systems.
it is done very well and greatly simplifies life, but I used it little to go beyond. later I should start using it for good.
