Good morning to all,
First of all, good holidays and thanks to those who will answer me.
work recently in the field of component modeling.
I detected a glass with the proline and got so we say the contour but in 3d.
If now I want to get a surface or extrude my relief as I do?
I can't do it with the extrusion command in autocad (although it's closed) or rhino?
Thank you
umberto

thanks for your wishes and spare.
depends on what you got from proline (which I don't know).
If, as I think, it is a closed 3d surface I create it as a quilt and then once selected you can use the solidify command which as the name "fills" a closed volume says. the command can be used in both add and remove material.

My surface is a double curvature.
place the photo.
Thank you for the answer but the command doesn't work doesn't let me select anything.IMG_0687.webpIMG_0688.webpIMG_0689.webp

of curves so jagged you do nothing either with creo or with any other cad.
Approximate with four splines the curves (it looks like a quadrilateral not flat) and on the four curves turn a surface. with my cad I would make a throgh curve mesh not know with creo that command you could use.
I hope I helped you anyway.superficie.webp

Hi.
Thank you very much for the answer.
The result you got is exactly what I was looking for.
What program did you use?
I am lucky to work in a place we say that it makes complete design and so I have the possibility to use inventor creo autocad and rhino... .
I can only use inventor but it seems difficult with that tool to get a result like yours.
Thank you.

I use nx, you posted the request in creo, which I don't know, so you could ask a user to create how to do with that program what I did:
1) approximate each side of the 'quadrilateral' with a 3d spline
2) let us pass a surface for 4 sides that in nx is called through curve mesh, I do not know what it is called in creo or inventor.
Hi.

the solidify command I told you before is not good because it only serves to transform a surface (closed volume) into a solid. but I misunderstood what your need was. The command you need is boundary blend. I also send you a link x explain how to use it.link youtubeHave fun?
Andrea

if you only have curves, use boundary blend or style if you have a specific license.
If you really have a surface, just use the "thick" feature to add some material.

First of all good year to all!
I solved my problem is thank you very much! umberto
